Writing Profile
Medusa was my first completed Novel. I remember writing a different story and coming across an old mythology book of mine in Greek. Medusa was depicted in classical fashion. Suddenly I became obsessed with her story, seeing the injustice, I knew exactly what I needed to do. I needed to tell the tale of Medusa, through her own eyes. This was back in 2009, way before Hollywood decided that Disney villains needed their own loveable backstory.
By 2010 I had a completed story and little patience for publisher's thoughts. I took matters into my own hands and published my work independently. Having complete control over my work and its promotion was not the easiest route, but it was the right one for me.
The second installment of my story is currently in the works, so stay tuned!
In 2013 a costume design student, inspired by my book created a fashion show using the characters from my version of the story.
